DAY 2 SITTONG FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING
Started full day trip with Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary, this sanctuary is rich in bird life. It is one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries of India. visit Famous bamboo Church, a very old historical church and a Monastery, made mostly of bamboo and mud. Proceed to Namthing Lake or Namthing Pokhri / Namthing Pokhari situated at an altitude of more than 4000ft is a natural lake near latpanchar village in the Shelpu region. Namthing Lake is home to the rare reptile species Himalayan Salamander (Newt). The lake is surrounded by thick pine trees which host a large number of birds and butterflies. DAY 3 WANDERING LEPCHAJAGAT
Morning Transfer to Lepchajagat (Distance 65km take arround 2.30hrs). Lepchajagat is a small village located in wilderness at an altitude of 6,956 ft and only 19kms away from Darjeeling hill town.Lepchajagat is all about dense forested area full with Pines, Oaks and Rhododendrons.
