Day wise Itinerary: 


DAY 1: GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG

On arrival at Guwahati, you will meet our representative and proceed for Shillong which is approximately 3hrs drive. Traveling from Guwahati to Shillong offers the opportunity to explore some beautiful sights along the way. As you start your journey from Guwahati, you can make a stop at Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani Lake. It's a picturesque reservoir surrounded by lush hills. You can enjoy boating and water activities here. Once you're in Shillong, you might want to visit the Don Bosco Museum, which showcases the indigenous cultures of the region. It's a great place to learn about the heritage and traditions of Northeast India. Then check in at the pre booked hotel. Evening is free for leisure.

DAY 2: SHILLONG - DAWKI / MAWLYNNONG - SHILLONG

After a filling breakfast, leave Shillong early in the morning to make the most of your day. Enjoy the scenic drive through the hills as you make your way to Dawki. The journey takes you through picturesque landscapes. Boating on the Umngot River in Dawki, offers a unique experience to glide on the crystal-clear waters and admire the stunning natural surroundings.

Then we proceed to Mawlynnong, which is known as "Asia's Cleanest Village." The village is about an hour's drive from Dawki. Spend your time exploring Mawlynnong. Take a leisurely walk through the village, known for its cleanliness and well-maintained gardens. Visit the living root bridge nearby and enjoy the serene surroundings. After the village tour, return to Shillong for the night stay.

DAY 3: SHILLONG - CHERRAPUNJI - SHILLONG

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra, is a scenic destination in the Indian state of Meghalaya, famous for its lush green landscapes, abundant rainfall, and numerous waterfalls. Here's a list of some of the top sights and attractions you can explore during your visit to Cherrapunji:

After the entire day in Cherrapunji, head back to Shillong. On the way, visit the Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls for panoramic views of Shillong city.

DAY 4: SHILLONG TO BHALUKPONG

Traveling from Shillong to Bhalukpong in a single day is quite a distance, as the journey is around 280-300 kilometers and takes approximately 6-7 hours of driving time, depending on road conditions and traffic. On this day, start early after breakfast and start your journey to Bhalukpong. On arrival, check in at the pre booked hotel and rest for the night.

DAY 5: BHALUKPONG TO DIRANG

Begin your journey from Bhalukpong to Dirang early in the morning to make the most of the day. As you leave Bhalukpong, you'll pass through the Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. If you're interested in flora and fauna, this is a great opportunity to see a variety of orchids and other plant species. You'll come across the town of Rupa. You can make a brief stop here for a break and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding hills. Arrive in Dirang, a picturesque town in the West Kameng district. You can visit the Dirang Dzong (fortress), a historical structure with cultural significance. It offers a beautiful view of the Dirang Valley. Dirang is also known for its apple orchards, you can opt to visit the orchards. Exlpore the Sangti Valley a picturesque valley located in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. The valley is known for its stunning natural beauty, with snow-capped mountains, lush green meadows, crystal-clear rivers, and dense forests. Later, check into your accommodation in Dirang for a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 6: DIRANG TO TAWANG

After breakfast, start your journey from Dirang to Tawang early in the morning to allow enough time for sightseeing and to enjoy the scenic beauty along the way. One of the highlights of the journey is crossing the Sela Pass, which is located at an elevation of about 13,700 feet (4,170 meters). The pass offers stunning panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and pristine landscapes. There is also a beautiful lake called Sela Lake near the pass. Then, stop at Jaswant Garh, a war memorial dedicated to the Indian Army soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat, who displayed extraordinary bravery during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The memorial is located near the Sela Pass and offers a peaceful ambiance. Enroute to Tawang, you can visit the Nuranang Falls, also known as Jung Falls. Upon reaching Tawang, check into your accommodation in Tawang for a comfortable overnight stay. Take a stroll around the charming town of Tawang, explore the local markets, and enjoy the unique culture and architecture of the region.

DAY 7: TAWANG – BUMLA PASS - TAWANG

Traveling from Tawang to Bumla Pass is an adventurous and unique journey that takes you to the border between India and China. The drive can take around 3-4 hours, depending on road and weather conditions. Start early for your trip to Bum La Pass to allow enough time for the round trip and to ensure that you return to Tawang before evening. While in the Bum La Pass, a visit to Sungester Lake also known as Madhuri Lake is worth a visit. Then if time permits, you are free to explore the Tawang Monastery, one of the largest and oldest monasteries in India. 

You can also visit the Tawang War Memorial which commemorates the soldiers who laid down their lives during the 1962 war. It's a somber and respectful place to pay your respects. Rest of the day is for Leisure.

DAY 8: TAWANG TO BOMDILA

The drive from Tawang to Bomdila can take around 6-7 hours, depending on road conditions and stops. Starting early from the hotel is the best possible option to make the most of the day. On your way to Bomdila, you can make a stop at PT Tso Lake, also known as Pankang Teng Tso Lake. It's a serene and beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by hills. Reach Bomdila in the afternoon and check into your accommodation.

DAY 9: BOMDILA TO KAZIRANGA

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kaziranga which is 179kms approximate in distance. On your way, you'll pass through Bhalukpong. You can make a stop here for quick refreshments. If time permits, visit the Tipi Orchid Research Center, which houses a variety of orchids native to the region. It's a beautiful place for nature enthusiasts. Reach Kaziranga in the afternoon and check into your accommodation. Spend your evening relaxing and unwinding after the long journey. You can explore the local area around Kaziranga, enjoy a traditional Assamese meal, or simply relax at your accommodation.

DAY 10: KAZIRANGA SIGHTSEEING

Early in the morning, travel Kaziranga National Park from either the western or central zone, as

per the schedule and the availability of jeep and elephant safaris. Visit the tea garden and take a tour of the Orchid Sanctuary after you've seen every inch of the astoundingly large Kaziranga Forest. Then, proceed to the Kakochang Waterfalls, a stunning waterfall that cascades between the area's coffee and rubber plantations, providing an unforgettable scene. Spend the night at the hotel and go to sleep surrounded by trees and nature.

DAY 11: KAZIRANGA TO GUWAHATI

Check out of the hotel and travel to Guwahati after breakfast. Enjoy the scenic drive as you leave the wilderness of Kaziranga and travel towards Guwahati. Reach Guwahati in the afternoon and check into your accommodation. After refreshment, the possible sightseeing includes: 

River Cruise (Optional at an additional cost): Consider taking a leisurely cruise on the Brahmaputra River to enjoy panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. 

Guwahati is the largest city in Assam and offers a blend of cultural, historical, and urban experiences. Visit the famous Sri Balaji Temple. You can also opt for the Ropeway terminal. From the ropeway, one can experience the mesmerising view of the mighty Brahmaputra river, aerial view of Umananda Island and the panoramic view of Guwahati city and its surroundings.

DAY 12: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE

Early morning begin the day by going to the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati's Nilachal Hills, which is where the Ambubachi Mela is held every year. Then, take a drive to the ferry ghat so you may get to Umananda Island, visit the Brahmaputra Heritage centre. . After the temple visit, the guest will be transferred to the Guwahati Airport for their onward journey with everlasting memory.




INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GUEST:


You need to have the permit before entering the Arunachal. ILP cost per person INR 400/-.per person.

Always carry original & Valid ID Proof & Address Proof with passport size    photograph.(Pan Card is not valid).

Bum La Pass is controlled by Indian Army. So any vehicle from Assam does not have the permission to take you till the place. So you need to take a separate car (SUMO TYPE) from Tawang to visit Bum La Pass which costs INR 5800 per vehicle approximately and to be paid by client separately.

For Arunachal, it is highly recommended to choose Innova/ Bolero for comfortable trip.
