Places to visit: Katmandu – Nagarkot- Pokhara- Chitwan- Katmandu- Delhi

Nepal is the country of amazing extreme; Himalayas ranges surround it. The world’s highest mountain Mount Everest towers this valley. It is surrounded by Tibet Region of China in North. Its eastern parts are surrounded by Sikkim & west Bengal. On south it is surrounded by Bihar & Uttar Pradesh, and on west again by Uttar Pradesh. The country has a glorious history and is being known as only Hindu state in the world. Its capital Katmandu is the house of Lord Shiva- Pushpatinath Temple. Buddhism is also practised here. However believers of both Hinduism & Buddhism live harmoniously & celebrate their festivals together.

Day: 1 Katmandu – Nagarkot
Next day upon arrival assistance at airport. Proceed to the highest point near Katmandu at Nagarkot (35 kms from Airport at an altitude of 2175 m. above sea level) Enjoy the panorama of major peaks of eastern Himalayan ranges including Sagarnatha (Mt.Everest) and mountain like Manaslu (8463 mts) Ganesh Himal (7.111mts.) Lantang (7.246 mts) Gaurishanker (7134 mts). Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day: 2 Nagarkot-Pokhara
After breakfast depart by road to Pokhara (230 kms). En-route half at Kurtinar to enjoy the longest Cable ride (3.25 kms long journey covered in 10 mins one way) at Manokamana Temple. After lunch proceed for 4 hours drive to Pokhara Valley. Check in at the hotel by evening. Just relax and enjoy the Pokhara’s magnificent view of Bhaulagiri, Himalchuli & Machhapuchhre and Annappurana mountains and enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day: 3 Pokhara
After breakfast, depart for sightseeing of Devi Falls and Mahendra Caves and later shopping at lakeside market. In the evening, you are free for boating in Fewa Lake. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day: 4 Pokhara - Chitwan
Next day after breakfast, depart for Chitwan (approx 3 hours drive)- the world famous WildLife Sanctuary (Royal Chitwan National Park). This park hosts 36 species of mammals, like deer, rhino, wild bears, leopard, wild buffalo, hyena and tigers spread over an area of 976 sq kms. Check in hotel in late afternoon. Just relax & enjoy the Nature around you. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day: 5 Chitwan
Next day after breakfast, proceed for jungle safari in deep jungle to explore the wild life on elephant or jeep. The other attractions one can enjoy are canoeing in river on a traditional dugout canoes made from a single log of tree. One can also experience seeing crocodiles in water surface. Your evening is free to enjoy the slide show with local cultural programme. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day: 6 Chitwan - Katmandu
Next day after breakfast, proceed for Katmandu (150 kms) by road. You can also board a flight. Upon arrival check in at the hotel to relax. In the evening you can do shopping in malls, or Thamel bazaar. Enjoy gambling and fun games at casino, dance in Discotheque. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day: 7 Katmandu
Next day after breakfast, depart for the sightseeing tour of famous Pashupatinath Temple located on the bank of Bagnati River.

Guheshwari Temple: A unique temple with no image of any goddess by devoted to goddess Sati Parvathi.

Bouddhanath: The Stupa of Bouddhanath is 3 kms from Pushupatinath. It is of the biggest stupa in the world, built in 5th Century AD.

Post lunch visit Patan City (Lalitpur)- the ancient city situated on the banks of river Bagmati. The city is full of Hindu Temples and Buddhist monuments with bronze gateways and carvings. It is also famous for Nepali handicrafts such as woodcarvings, metal crafts, carpets, thanka paintings etc. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day: 8 Katmandu -Delhi
Next day after early breakfast, proceed for a visit to Swayambhunath- the world’s most glorious Buddhist Shrines situated on a hillock about 77 mts above the level of valley. Afterwards, return to the hotel to pack your luggage and be ready for departure for your home destination.
