Duration: 4 days Places to visit: Bhopal –Sanchi- Panchmarhi-Bhopal-Delhi
Day: 1 Bhopal & Sanchi Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After breakfast, depart for Sanchi (46 kms) motorable road to see the famous Stupa being built by Mauryan Emperor Ashoka. It is one of the oldest stone structures with 36.5 m in diameter and 16.4 m height with massive hemispherical dome. Later, return to the hotel and enjoy late afternoon visit to Jama Masjid. In the evening enjoy boating in one of the widest lake, shopping in famous Chowk Bazaar. Return to the hotel for over night stay.
Day: 2 Bhopal to Panchmarhi Next day after early breakfast drive to Panchmarhi. (Panchamrhi is a place surrounded by mountains, flowing waters, forest etc. Check in at the hotel and relax. Later proceed to witness the sunset from the highest point in Satpura ranges. In late evening, visit the famous churches almost 1800 years old, enjoy boating in a lake in chilly evenings with fresh air from the forest. Return to the hotel for over night stay.
Day: 3 Panchmarhi Next day after breakfast, proceed to visit Bee Falls, a spectacular fall in the stream. Visit Jata Shanker- a sacred cave under a mass of loose boulders in which the Jambu Dwip stream has its source. The rock formation resembles the matted locks of Lord Shiva.
Mahadeo & Chauragarh: Dedicated to Lord Shiva and a place to visit.
Pandav Caves: Panchmarhi derives its name from this place. The Pandavs brothers spent some of the time in their exile in sand stone caves. Return to the hotel in late evening. After rest you can go for shopping. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. Day: 4 Bhopal – Delhi Next day after breakfast depart for Bhopal. Enroute visit Bhembetka caves almost 35000 years old, the biggest repository of prehistoric art in India on over hanging rock. On way back visit the famous Bhojeshwar Temple founded by Parnar King of Dhar Raja Bhoj (1010 – 53) and is renowned for the remains of magnificent Shiva temple & cyclopean dam. Return to the hotel to board the train for Delhi
